Director – Hadi’s Portrait

Naïm El Hajj is a Lebanese director born in 1988 in San José, Costa Rica. He holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University and is based in Beirut. His early work focused on visual art and installations, exhibited internationally, including at the BJCEM Biennale in Thessaloniki.

In recent years, he shifted toward cinema. His essay film Inevitable Nils and Nothings in Between (Introduction) (2024) was selected at the International Video Poetry Festival in Athens and won Best Essay Film at the Madrid Independent Film Festival.
