An Emirati filmmaker who holds a BA in Mass Communication from UAE University. She worked for Abu Dhabi TV where he collaborated in several TV programs and shows as a producer and as a director. Alshateri has so far helmed six short films, including Dreams of Rice, 2012, that won Best Director award at Abu Dhabi film festival. Escape marks the filmmaker's most recent works.
