Ghina Abboud is a Lebanese filmmaker born in 1991. She studied audiovisual arts at Al Kafaat University and journalism at the Lebanese University. Her graduation film Batoul, Do You See Me? marked the start of her career.
She has directed and produced several short films, including ROBERT! (2016), Permission (2017), Youssef (2017), Light (2021), and Musca (2022). Her first feature documentary, Until We Rest (2024), produced with Al Jazeera Documentaries, won the Lune d’Or at the Festival International des Jeunes Cinéastes in Montreuil.
She is currently developing a film about South Lebanon while editing her upcoming documentary Aarsal, Throne of God.
