Anan Abbasi is a writer, director, and producer who made his filmmaking debut with the short film LAST CALL, which he wrote, directed, and produced.
His creative portfolio includes extensive collaborations with renowned Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh and serving as producer, executive producer, and general supervisor on a series of music videos.
As a lyricist, Abbasi has penned songs such as YA DAR, KAREEM YA RAMADAN, and EHNA FLESTINIA, with his work featured in international festivals and television programs, including Asala Nasri’s SOLA and the Arab Song Festival in Egypt.
A senior consultant ophthalmic surgeon, healthcare administrator, and multidisciplinary creative whose work bridges medicine, music, and film, he has held a bachelor's of medicine since 2004.
He pursued further academic excellence with a master of science in 2009, an MBA in 2018, and executive education at Harvard Business School in 2016, and won the Euromedcafe International Contest Award for Intercultural Dialogue and Peace.
