Synopsis

Through a complex and emotionally layered father-daughter journey set in the waters of a community swimming pool in Cairo, Yomna, a first-time director, uses the filmmaking process as a tool to spend more time with her distant father. As she approaches him, she explores her existential questions surrounding career, parenthood, and mortality.
